It’s not our journey, we just point you in the right direction.

SERVICES

Renovations and New Construction

The Architectural Design Process is often seen as difficult with too many decisions to make. Blaze Architecture will reduce that difficulty from your journey and help to evaluate and execute your specific needs and desires.

New construction designs consider the climates and microclimates that will affect the builds for years to come.

Renovation projects seek to retain as much of the embodied energy as possible by working within project constraints while still meeting your needs and desires.

Fire Hardening

Our desire to be immersed in nature is understandable, seeking seclusion, peacefulness, and beauty. As we push further into the forests with our homes, we increase our chances of wildfire exposure. Wildfires are getting bigger, burning longer, and occurring more frequently. But, we have the research, the science and the engineering to build homes that have a better chance of surviving a wildfire. Blaze Architecture provides specialty knowledge of designing new and retrofitting existing structures within wildfire prone areas to increase their chance of surviving a wildfire. We love to share that knowledge with anyone who will listen.

If desired, Blaze Architecture can provide you with detailed plans outlining the scope of work related to fire hardening your existing home. These plans can assist you in retaining bids from contractors in order to execute the work.
